Cam FM made good on their nominations at this year's Student Radio Awards by taking home Bronze in the Best Outside Broadcast category, for coverage of this year's May Bumps rowing competition.

In a star-studded ceremony in London hosted by BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw and Capital's Dave Berry, 25 Cam FM members made it down to the O2 to see our Bumps coverage recognised as the third best broadcast outside of a studio at any UK student radio station over the last year.

Ernst & Young, who sponsored the broadcast, took to Twitter to congratulate the team, led by Head of Sport Andy Winfield - tweeting "Great news for @camfm972 wining Bronze @SRA 2012 for the May Bumps coverage we proudly sponsored! Well done to the team!"

Cam FM were also nominated for Best Speech for the Fo' Show, and the presitgious Best Station award, which was presented to Nottingham's URN on the night, for the third year running.
