Lent Bumps - Day 3

The third day of Lent Bumps saw yet another action-packed day on the river for the rowers, and once more Cam FM were there to keep you up to date on all the thrills and spills as they happened.

M4 eased everyone into the afternoon by delivering a relatively bump-free race, with Churchill M3 and Christ's M3 being the only crews to be nudged down the pecking order. This was far from indicative of the rest of the afternoon's racing though, which saw the men and women from the top two divisions pushing hard in their second races of the week.

Downing W1 turned out another dominating performance, and it will be interesting to see whether First and Third W1 can find what they need to come close to them in the remaining two fixtures. Similarly, Caius M1 and Downing M1 delivered textbook rows today, but with LMBC M1 sliding down the start order, perhaps Queens' M1 or First and Third M1 will now be able to put the pressure on the front runners. Meanwhile, crews under pressure and looking to avoid spoons in M1 are LMBC, Tit Hall and Emma, while in W1 Pembroke, Clare, Tit Hall and Magdalene have all been caught in both races so far.

There's everything to row for, and with just two days of races left you're not going to want to miss a thing! Tune in 12:30-17:30 on Friday and 11:30-17:30 on Saturday to hear every race, and every bump, live on Cam FM.
