Following tonight's coverage of the CUSU and GU elections, we look forward to bringing you some coverage of the ARU Students' Union election this Friday:

On the 5th of March, ‘Question the Candidates’ was held at the Academy on the Cambridge Campus of Anglia Ruskin University. The event introduced us to the nineteen candidates who are running for the positions of Executive Officer at the ARU Students’ Union: Four of them running for President, seven for Communications Officer, two for Academic Officer, two for Experience Officer (Cambridgeshire) and four for Experience Officer (Essex). All the candidates had prepared a two-minute speech, in which they explained why they are suitable for the role and why students should vote for them. In addition to that, the audience was allowed to ask questions, on which the candidates had very interesting answers.

Tune in to Cam FM on Friday at 2pm for an Election Special bringing you all the highlights so far and check out our Facebook page for photos of the 'Question the Candidates' event.
