Thank you for your interest in broadcasting a programme on-air on Cam FM! We'd love to have you on-air! All Cam FM members may apply to host a show.
In order to broadcast a programme you must be a fully trained Cam FM member. Cam FM membership is open to all students, staff and alumni of both Cambridge University and Anglia Ruskin University. We cannot accept show applications from people before they have been trained.
Please select a show format from one of the three options below.
Your show will need to comply with the respective conditions.
Proposals for shows which cross the boundaries of formats will in general not be accepted.
If you wish to broadcast chatty features and specialist music, please consider applying for two shows: one Entertainment and one Specialist Music; rather than fitting them both into one show.
Entertainment shows broadcast during the day. They should be
feature-rich, offer entertaining chat balanced with music
of general appeal mostly from the Cam FM playlist.

Specialist music shows mainly broadcast in the evenings and
overnight. They consist mostly of music from predominantly one particular
genre of your choice. They contain only a small amount of chat.

Talk shows broadcast some afternoons and early evening. They
should be almost all speech and have a particular theme such as
news, comedy or arts.
