Cam FM's very own Austrian (aka Chris W) interviewed British comedian James Acaster ahead of his stand-up performance tomorrow 8pm at the Cambridge Junction.

James Acaster is an internationally touring British comedian and winner of the “Best International Show at New Zealand Comedy Festival 2014”. James will bring his new award winning show “Recognise” to Cambridge on the 24th of October 2014. He announced himself onto the stage with his critically acclaimed debut sellout show “Amongst Other Things” gaining five and four star reviews. James then followed this up with two nominations for the main Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award, with “Prompt” in 2012 and “Lawnmower” in 2013. The Sunday Times described his show as “Beautifully constructed 'art of stand-up' stuff...this show will be taught in schools as the perfect how-to example”. Off stage he has his own series “James Acaster’s Findings” for BBC Radio 4 and has made a number of television appearances including “Never Mind The Buzzcocks” (BBC Two), “8 Out Of 10 Cats” (Channel 4), “Russell Howard’s Good News” (BBC Three), “Live at The Comedy Store” (Paramount) and “the Edinburgh Fest Comedy Gala” (BBC Three).
