This event is open to both members and non-members of Cam FM.
Former Head of Comedy & Drama Zoë Tomalin explains the basics of producing scripted content for radio. In February, Zoë co-wrote and produced a sketch show for Radio 1, and currently works at the BBC and Avalon
Television as a runner.
This workshop will take a whistle-stop tour of the production process from pitch to broadcast. Key subjects will include: production scheduling; effective script editing; getting the most out of your cast with limited studio time; publicity; compliance issues, and adapting content for your showreel.
Zoë will also be happy to read through scripts and sketches which you are planning to develop for radio. Please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to discuss them after the talk.
