Cam FM Honoured At The Amplify Awards Sunday, 15 June 2025

Recently, Cam FM attended its first Student Radio Association Conference in Salford for many years; during the conference, we were honoured to receive the highest number of awards and nominations that we have ever achieved at the annual Amplify awards. We won 5 awards in total (out of 10 nominations), making us the most awarded student station in the whole South East region - continuing our streak from last year's Student Radio Awards!

We were awarded:

Gold

• Outstanding Contribution: Jordan Keyton
• Hero of the Moment: Lauren Hedley
• Best Training Initiative (earning Gold for the second year in a row, no less...!)

Silver

• Most Committed Committee Member: Shreeya Makwana
• Best Station Culture

Shortlisted

• Most Committed Committee Member: Aaron Syposz
• Most Supportive University or Students' Union: Jesus College & Sonita Alleyne OBE

Longlisted

• Most Committed Committee Member: Alex Read
• Most Committed Committee Member: Lauren Hedley

We are ecstatic to have received such prestigious awards; we would equally like to thank the Student Radio Association for allowing us to share Jordan's life and legacy with the broader radio community.
